A Taste of Snow - 02/26/10 - photo by Will Yurman
With my car stuck in my driveway this morning, buried under a foot of snow, I walked around my neighborhood looking for weather photos. Among the people I ran into were Gus Galambos, 2, and his dad, who were shoveling the driveway together, with Gus pausing to eat some snow.

Largo was extremely sweet and patient with the young readers.

There are good photos to be made everywhere when hundreds of people run headlong into a freezing cold lake in winter. I was really hoping to get one of the plungers who get their whole body into the water and I scored when chicken man took a dive. Thanks chicken man!!!!
