Lori Garratt of Brighton tears up and crosses her heart as the funeral procession for Pfc. Daniel Rivera , the 22-year-old Rochester soldier killed in Iraq, passes by on Winton Rd. Garratt said ” Unconditionally these men and  women serve our country. There are no conditions that would keep me from supporting them. People are losing understanding of why we are fighting.  Pride in the military should never falter and you can’t lose sight of the importance of supporting these military families” - on why she came out in the rain.
