Leo Dabrowski proudly wears his World War II veterans cap in his room at the St John’s Home. Leo Dabrowski was a young sailor aboard the USS Maryland on December 7th, 1941 when Pearl Harbor was bombed. One of Dabrowski’s sons comes from the west coast every year to visit him on the anniversary of the bombing and takes him to the memorial ceremony at the Coast Guard Station on Lake Ontario.
