One of the great things about being a newspaper photographer is that you have a chance to see things most people don’t. Although this is not a great photograph I thought it was interesting to learn how this 2000 gallon glass lined vessel was sprayed with a glass powder and goes into a large furnace which reaches 1700 degrees at Pfaulder Inc.. Readers of the upcoming newspaper story will see a different photo though, one with a person in it to give the vessel some scale.
