My assignment was to take a stand alone photo from the the Polish Heritage Society of Rochester’s annual Wigilia, a traditional Polish Christmas Eve Dinner at St. John Fisher College.  I noticed two little girls wearing traditional Polish dresses which brought back a few memories for me.  I remember wearing something similar for a school project in third grade..haha (I’m 50% Polish).  The girls were joking around before singing with the Rochester Polish Language School’s Polish-American Youth Choir: Anna Weldy (left), 11, of Irondequoit, Izabella Hilmi (center), 8, and her sister Marcella Hilmi (right), 5, of Webster.
