I had an assignment to shoot the Churchville-Chili Brass Ensemble giving a holiday concert at the Monroe County Legislature Building at lunchtime today. The students played next to a large Christmas tree in the atrium.  Shooting tuba player Brian Lang through the tree  with the lights out of focus around him helped make a pretty standard picture into something a bit more festive.
