I make it a priority not to get hit by a player  while covering a Buffalo Bills game. This one came close.  Bills receiver Lee Evans was able to change direction and avoid me by a few inches. I had another photographer to my left and had nowhere to go.  The worst part was that if I did get hit the play wouldn’t have even counted since Evans was ruled out of bounds.  If I’m going to get hit covering a football game I’d at least like the play to count.
