Adam DeSantis has been teaching chess in schools all over our community for decades. He runs several tournaments a year at the Chili Library, providing pizza for the kids. As one round of games ended, he and some of the players replayed the end game, figuring out the best possible moves for each side. As my friend Beth said, ‘layers’, I like the layers of the photo - all the different faces, the hands, all the action swirling around Mr. DeSantis.
