My New Year’s Eve assignment was at the Dome Arena in Henrietta, covering the family New Year’s Eve celebration. Because I also had to shoot fireworks later in the evening, I got to the Dome early. It wasn’t very crowded at the beginning, except around the Wildlife Educator Coalition’s table. Iguanas, a spider monkey, snakes and of course Jessica were all a huge hit. I spent about an hour at the Dome, looking for more traditional holiday kind of photos.  This probably isn’t the picture we will use in the paper (It’s still New Year’s Eve as I write this, so maybe I’ll be proved wrong) but it was certainly my favorite of the night.
