The big catch - 01/17/2010 - Photo by Annette Lein

I spent several hours on Sunday shooting the 15th annual WInterfest in Mendon Ponds Park.  Walking out onto frozen Hundred Acre Pond I found young Justin Skelly, age 3, of Perry, NY, trying his hand at ice fishing.  Fishermen from Avon Anglers had a few holes drilled into the ice just for young kids with a small fish already tied to the line that they could reel up from the hole.  The expressions on kids faces such as Skelly’s made it a prime location for photos.
