I can’t say this a wonderful photo, it was shot through 3 plates of glass from the street into a dark room.  Short on technical merit it does raise some questions. Why is a dummy in the security chair at the Monroe County Crime Lab’s front desk? D&C Reporter, David Andreatta, noticed this on his way into the office today and had to get me over to see it. I know times are tough for small government but this security deterrent borders on the bizarre.  With all the money spent on this state of the art facility that’s been recognized for it’s green inovation I can’t understand why a toy is greeting visitors.
