Pfc. Cody Coopenberg, of Holley, who was severely burned in Afghanistan over the summer, hugs his two-year old son, Landon, as he arrived home for a two-week leave in Rochester Saturday afternoon, December 22, 2012. This is the first time he’s been home since he was injured and he hasn’t seen his two-year-old son, Landon, in person since he and wife Hannah got married in May.
It’s assignments like these that tug at your heart strings, and should open your eyes wide to be VERY thankful for those that sacrifice for our freedoms.
