Ouch!!!! - 3/4/2010 - Photo by Annette Lein

I usually enjoy shooting sports as I don’t do it very often and it allows me to just react to what is happening in front of me.  I decided to try shooting the girls basket ball Class AA final at Gates Chili HS with a 300 mm lens, which is longer than I would normally use.  That choice paid off when Greece Arcadia’s #33 Jessica Sexton, bottom, went down hard as Aquinas’ #1 Teja Reaves, left, and #24 Clair Riley, right, fought her for possession of the ball.  Sexton was OK and  Arcadia won 60 -55.
