I spent a good part of the day at School 46 photographing their Artists In Residence program. A.I.R. has been going on at the school for more than 30 years. The three-day program brings in artists who teach workshops to all of the school’s kindergarten through sixth-graders in art subjects such as storytelling, music and dance. Frances Hare was the dance teacher, teaching children the moves to the Pakistani dance called the Bhangra.
