I was in the courtroom today when Frank Sterling was released after being cleared in the murder of Viola Manville in 1988. Sterling spent 18 years in jail for a crime he didn’t commit.  Waiting for him in court were longtime friends Jim and Sharon Adam.  The Adams were emotional as the judge said that Sterling was a free man.  He came over to greet them afterwords for an happy reunion.  Sterling will live with the Adams’ for awhile as he gets used to his new life as a free man.
