I was at a press conference this afternoon where five women were announcing the formation of the $1 Million Education Club designed to raise money for school children with special needs.  

I think our goal at these kinds of events is to find a picture that tells the story but avoids the standard standing at a microphone image. In this case the event was held in the gift store at the Spa at Del Monte, the Pittsford hotel and spa. It was an odd location for a press conference and not a great situation for photos. I liked this image of four of the women, all in black, lost in their conversations, while they waited for things to begin.
