Sartu Abdukadir - 05/11/2010 - photo by Will Yurman

I was photographing the Eastridge High School marching band rehearsing for the upcoming Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C.  Sartu Abdukadir was in the front row and I liked the way her eyes stayed focused on the band leader.  But mostly I think, I just like her name.
