Bye, Bye Buffalo - 5/13/10 - photo by Tina Yee

This is my favorite photo of the day because of what it means to me as a journalist and personally.  As a minority I never thought in my lifetime I would see either a woman or a person of color as the President of the United States.  So that’s why I wanted to have this assignment.  Not the sexiest to wait at the airport all day but for me this was historic.  It wasn’t so long ago that I was one of the few women Asian photographers in the business.
