We ran over to the PSB to cover a a press conference held by The Dream Factory of Rochester where they announce a competition between local fire, police and EMT personel to be held June 6 at the Highland Bowl. The competition consists of officers from local departments shaving their head to raise money for critically and chronically ill children in the Rochester area. Rochester Police Officer, Brett Scheuer, was the first to kick off the fundraiser by having his head shaved by retired barber, Sam Soprano. I made the standard photos of  Brett having his head shaved and thought that would be the photo from the event. As Sam finished he reached into his bag behind Brett and pulled out a lolly pop. I scrambled to get my camera to my eye just as the lolly pop was presented to Brett, the look on his face was priceless. I wounder how many kids gave Sam the same smile back to Sam after their hair cuts at his barber shop back in the day.
