Eastman’s elephant - 05/17/2010 - photo by Shawn Dowd

I went over to the George Eastman House to photograph the restoration of their popular African elephant mount that hangs inside the house.  The elephant head was made from a mold of the elephant Eastman shot in Africa in 1928.  On some assignments, like this one, you look up and just can’t believe your good fortune.
