On Top of The World - 5/21/10 - photo by Tina Yee
The local Boy Scouts of America were holding a fundraiser and having people pay to rappel down the First Federal building. BSA employees got to go free. Just before this guy went down I asked him for his name. He looked incredibly nervous as he was about to do this. I was thinking my asking him something less stressful would either help or hinder. He later told me it helped calm him. Before he stepped off the building he looked scared but then the minute his feet touched the building he was all smiles the whole way down. It was a blast for me especially since the wall separating me from the people going down was more than half my height keeping me safely on the roof. Having a harness on that I was later tethered to also made me feel better. For this shot, no tether just a lot of tip toes and leaning. After they saw me doing this they tethered me.
