For the fifth year in a row I get to cover Rochester’s jazz festival. It’s exhausting fun. I create a mini documentary on a different band each night for seven nights and then my friend and co-worker Annette Lein will do the same on the final two nights. You can see the shows on the D&C website.

For the first night I hung out with Billy’s Band, a Russian band led by Billy Novik. They were great and couldn’t have been nicer.
